Our doors are available in numerous decorative designs, styles and configurations, manufactured using a strong 24-gauge steel and polyurethane foam core for durable energy efficiency. All doors feature a solid wood lock block for secure mounting of hardware, decorative glass options, and an exlusive 25 years limited warranty.
- 1. Lock Block : reinforced solid wood block for extra security in the lock area which also allows the installation of the full range of locksets and deadbolts.
- 2. Steel Skin: 24 gauge factory primed, hot dipped, galvanized steel faces wrapped around for the superior insulation and resistance to corrosion and rust.
- 3. Polyurethane Foam Core: foam core injected between the two Steel Skins (2) permanently bonded to provide excellent insulation and stability.
- 4. Premium Weather-strip: multiline bottom weather-strip and corner seals to provide outstanding seal against air and water infiltration.
- 5. Aluminum-vinyl Threshold: aluminum and vinyl sill is thermally broken to eliminate frost and it works together with the bottom Weather-strip (4) to provide a true thermal barrier.
- 6. Flexible Magnetic Sill: around the perimeter Q-LON magnetic weather-stripping provides a perfect airtight seal, same as your refrigerator door.
- 7. Wood Frame: frame members are selected wood species, kiln dried and finger jointed to minimized wrapping, maximize the strength and durability.
- 8. Ball Bearing Hinges: heavy duty premium hinges available in nickel, polished brass and black chrome (ask a visage representative for the full range of available options).
- 9. PVC Glass Frame: maintenance free door lite frame, replaceable energy efficient and air tight to insure a great look and superior insulation.
- 10. Wood Perimeter Frame: continuous wood perimeter frame provides a thermal break between outside and inside Steel Skins to provide outstanding insulation and to eliminate frost and condensation.
Door Glass/Lite Features
Door glass is a system comprised of a two part frame and an insulated panel of tempered safety glass.
- Tempered safety glass for you protection
- Decorative glass panel (stained glass and caming)
- Thermal seal for the insulation and air tightness
